  Why?

'Why?' Why not? Welcome to my world. Like other fans I too enjoy speculating and supporting pairings within anime, manga and video games. Everyone has their own view on these, no matter how obvious, odd or perfectly matched they are.

Not many people would notice, or even support, my idea of Link and Navi, but that's what I'm here for; to oppose the popularity and fill the world with my daft, yet intriguing thoughts.

This pairing isn't as daft as you think, not when there's hard evidence. Okay, it my just be that they're not in romantic love, just love as in a strong friendship, but nevertheless, that fact remains that Link and Navi are paired together by fate (I mean paired together for the adventure, not romantically). Yes, Navi is a small fairy, and Link is (presumably) human height, but does that stop love and friendship? No. I know their massive size difference prevents them from kissing etc, but the main reason I believe the opposition of my opinions would be cross-breeding. Not entirely the best, but think what you're trying to do when you pair Link up with Ruto the Zora, and indeed Saria the Kokiri (aside from getting jailed for paedophilia, it's still apparently 'wrong' in the sense that Saria is a different race). Race difference isn't something The Legend of Zelda cares about.

I don't particularly mind pairing Link with others per say, but - I'm sorry- I just HATE Zelda. My crush on Link has disagreed with the cliché idea of the hero and the princess. Sure, they're friendly, but I can't stand the thought of these two together. I've always opposed popularity.

If your not convinced by my non-stop drivel, then read more of it whilst I explain my strong and backed-up views and annotations regarding this sweet couple.
