Agitha lives alone in her ‘castle', awaiting someone to help her find the Golden Bugs to attend her royal bug ball. When she’s not at home, she’s at the south gate of Castle Town searching for bugs. She is one of the few characters who isn’t scared of Wolf Link, and calls Link ‘Grasshopper’ before she deems him a knight of her Bug Kingdom, when all her guests are at Agitha's Castle. Before you complete this sidequest, Agitha can be found in a patch of flowers by the southern gate of Castle Town, while she looks for bugs herself. When it starts to get dark, she slowly walks back in.

Though delusional, Agitha is very polite and caring. She realises how ill-mannered she was for asking Link to find her bugs when she finds he actually went to the trouble of doing so. However, if Link goes to exit her castle with bugs still in his pocket she knows, and snarls at him.
Agitha sings a little verse when she receives a bug. These verses show that Agitha may mistake an ant for a gain and put her into her cereal, could slice onions better with sickles, wants to be wrapped up in the power found in a cocoon, wants to tie antennae into bows, wants to make a lovely, colourful braid with a dayfly tail, thinks sharp pinchers must feel good, wants to fly on the back of a ladybird, wants to tickle a grasshopper's belly, wants to use a beetle's shell as a pillow, wants to be small to roll around like a ball, wants to take a bath in snail slime, and... she never finished her sentence on what happens when she looks into the eyes of a dragonfly.

It is speculated the Agitha is of Kokiri ancestry due to the fact that she's a child living on her own, with a tree in her house. She shares the eye make up (the three dots under her eyes) with Telma and Madame Fanadi who are speculated to be ancestors of other Hyrulean races (other than Hylian). Worth mentioning: In a fan-made comic strip, Agitha's parents 'were so happy they went away' after she put a scorpion and poisonous spider in their bed. Agitha's delusional enough to think people will be happy about bug in their bed (albeit, a deadly bug), but she's not that creepy.

Appearance
Agitha is a typical, young Hylian, with blonde hair in pigtails, and a pair of blue eyes.
Her clothes are inspired by the Lolita fashion; with the puffy sleeved blouse, JSK (jumper skirt), bell shaped skirt reaching over her knees, Maryjane shoes, knee socks, and parasol.
Many parts of her clothes and accessories are bug themed. Beetle-type bugs as her dangly earrings, on both sides of her headdress, and make up the chain on her Stag Beetle pendant. Three butterflies decorate her dress, a pair of butterfly wings on her back, and lots of gossamer wings make a pattern near the hem of her dress.

The Golden Bugs
The sidequest involving Agitha is all about collecting Golden Bugs to attend her ball.
The 'happiness' she shares with Link is all money related. When Agitha receives her first guest she will give Link the Big Wallet (holds up to 600 Rupees), and then the Giant Wallet (holds up to 1000 Rupees) when all 24 guests are with Agitha. For every bug she gets, Link gets 50 Rupees, and 100 Rupees for every pair (male and female versions of each bug). She basically pays 1800 Rupees for her bug guests...
The Giant Wallet is a symbol of being apart of Agitha's Bug Kingdom. She sees Link as a sort of knight, too.
